A survivor over every obstacle sent to destroy her. A mother who was able to thrive beyond incarceration, gang affiliation, and most of all, being raised in a family in which street hustling was a way of life. Shanna is compelled to use her life story in hopes of empowering others and especially our youth, to choose a different path. Shanna believes that our kids do not care what you know until they know that you care. “I easily connect with young people because I understand their challenges.” She is dedicated to being a positive change agent in the lives of our youth. “There is no testimony without tests.” she says.
