I am a violence interrupter for Turn Up Knox and I am committed to creating a safer and healthier community for us all. I was born and raised right here in Knoxville, on the East Side. I spent the majority of my childhood in between Walter P. Taylor Homes and Burlington. During my teens and early adulthood I ran the streets on Linden Ave, where I became a well known drug dealer which initially landed me two stints in prison. After my second stint I set out on a mission of redemption which came after the unfortunate and untimely death of my teenage nephew. With TUK at the forefront of the call for justice for the death of my nephew, I knew I had to be a part of this organization.
